About Me
My work began with Earning the Light Shamanic training under the guidance of Pete Bernard, An Algonquin Medicine Man. These profound teachings helped me better understand myself and who I am. The awareness and transformation that came through that experience changed the way I understood healing and my place in the world.
From there, I began working with the plants. They became great teachers and allies, guiding me to look beyond myself and understand that we are all woven into a much larger tapestry; the animals, the plants, the earth, and the cosmos we are part of.
That relationship with the plants eventually led me to working with animals. Today, my practice brings together shamanic work, animal energy healing and communication, and flower essences. Each part grew naturally from the one before it.
My own healing work is ongoing. I believe we all have flaws, and we have all made mistakes. When we can look at those parts of ourselves with compassion and without judgment, we create space to understand what they have come to teach us. That is when the medicine within them can truly shine through.
I do not see myself as the person doing the healing for someone else. My role is to hold a safe, guided space, help bring awareness to what is asking to be seen, and support each person or animal in their own healing process.
I am certified through Lynn McKenzie’s Animal Energy® Certification Training and through The 8th Fire. The flowers later guided me to begin making essences, which I continue to create under their guidance.
